Payment of Utility Bills
Utility bills for electricity, gas and water service can be paid with the payment slip sent to you by the utility at any convenience store or by automatic transfer from your bank account. To sign up for automatic transfer, take your payment slip and your bankbook (and your personal seal if you have one) to your financial institution.
If you are planning to move, your bills must be calculated before you go. Please notify the utilities that you will be moving three to four days in advance.
Electricity
Nishitokyo City is supplied with 100v, 50Hz electricity by Tokyo Electric Power Company.

Natural Gas
Nishitokyo City is supplied with 13A natural gas by Tokyo Gas, but some buildings also use propane gas. Be sure to check which kind of gas is supplied where you live and choose compatible appliances.

Water
Water is supplied by the Tokyo Bureau of Waterworks. Contact them to start or stop your water service. Water is billed every two months together with your sewerage service.
